About the estate
Domaine La Doussinière, an exceptional terroir for rich, complex red wines, lovingly cultivated on plots dating back to 1955
Domaine La Doussinière produces rich, complex red wines thanks to its clay-limestone soils and oceanic climate influenced by the Dordogne, growing the emblematic Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes on plots of old vines dating back to 1955, adding a certain quality to the wine.
Situated on the Montravel plateaux, around 15 km from Saint-Emilion, the estate offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding vineyards. The vines, carefully cultivated on nutrient-rich soils, produce grapes of exceptional quality, which are carefully transformed into fine, elegant wines. The winery is run by a passionate team who strive to create unique and memorable wines.
