OUR STORY

In reference to my origins and roots

La Doussinière has a special meaning for me, my family and my origins

Tasting the wines produced by Domaine La Doussinière can be a great way to connect with my family history while enjoying the flavours and traditions of the Montcaret wine region.

La Doussinière is a locality in the commune of Sucé-sur-Erdre, in the Loire-Atlantique region, which has a special meaning for me and my family roots. Its proximity to the Erdre, a peaceful and picturesque river named by François 1er as “the most beautiful river in France”, is dominated by numerous châteaux.

La Plage Verte, a popular beach on the banks of the Erdre, takes its name from the green colour of the surrounding meadows.

The name of the La Doussinière wine estate refers to these roots.

Domaine La Doussinière and its first wine L'Originel 2021: family heritage, winegrowing tradition, authentic production, roots, preservation of traditions and respect for the environment.

The name L'Originel

The choice of name suggests an authentic wine production, faithful to the values and production methods of yesteryear.
The name of my wine L'Originel takes on even more meaning, as it's also my first harvest.

We'd love to hear from you!
